PROJECT HUNT 2.0 IS HERE!


PROJECT HUNT 2.0 has arrived with a brand-new Farm Defense map, Head Mounts, Hunter News, Mission Tracking UI, a new .45-70 rifle, and many improvements and bug fixes. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support PROJECT HUNT.

NEW CONTENT

FARM DEFENSE — NEW FREE MAP


To celebrate our collaboration with GSBG, one of Korea’s biggest gaming channels, a brand-new Farm Defense map has been added for free.

  • Take on a request from the farm owner and hunt the pest animals that have invaded the farm.

  • Interact with the request board at the Base Camp to enter GSBG Farm.

  • Hunt a total of 15 animals to complete the mission.

  • After completing the mission, you may stay and hunt the remaining animals.

  • No additional animals will spawn after the mission is completed.

  • The Farm Defense mission can only be entered once per day.

  • After entering the farm, if you leave for another map, you cannot return until the next day.

  • There are no species-specific missions on the Farm map.

  • You can hunt on foot or from horseback.

  • Help SHK, the farm owner whose farm has suffered heavy damage from invading wildlife!

HEAD MOUNTS


Head Mounts have finally arrived in PROJECT HUNT!

You can now display your trophies as mounted animal heads.

  • Head Mounts can mainly be found at Base Camps across the different maps.

  • Animal poses can be changed depending on the animal’s tier.

  • More Head Mount poses will be added in future updates.

HUNTER NEWS


A new Hunter News feature has been added.

Hunter News displays records of rare animals hunted by players around the world.

  • View rare hunting records from hunters worldwide.

  • Displays up to the 100 most recent hunting records.

MISSION TRACKING UI


You can now track missions directly on your HUD.

  • Click a mission on the right side of the Map screen to begin tracking it.

  • The selected mission will remain visible in the lower-left corner of the HUD.

  • Mission progress can now be checked without repeatedly opening the Map.

R .45-70 LEVER-ACTION RIFLE DLC


The new R .45-70 Lever-Action Rifle DLC is now available.

IMPROVEMENTS & BUG FIXES

Gameplay & UI

  • Added a Damage Indicator.

  • Improved the visibility of system notification messages.

  • Updated all animal portraits with more realistic artwork.

  • Improved several item and achievement icons.

  • Added the option to change the weather when changing the time.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where players could occasionally become unable to exit a vehicle after entering it.

  • Fixed several translation and font issues.

  • Fixed various weather-related issues.

  • Fixed animation-related issues with the .45-70 rifle.

MORE CONTENT IS COMING


The additional weapons, Legendary Animals, and other new content previously announced as part of the PROJECT HUNT 2.0 roadmap will also be added soon.
