Fixes:
- "Survive First Night" now completes when you make it to morning, even if you stayed up instead of sleeping, so the objective card no longer points you home all through Act 2
- Pressing Use next to a resident now talks to them, even with a lantern or another prop close by
- Night monsters no longer hang around in daylight once a fight has gone quiet, and a monster stuck behind a rock or wall gives up and backs off instead of hovering
- Your hits no longer knock enemies out of reach of your next swing, so follow-up swings actually land
- A marsh Bog Mite's venom bite now costs 2 hearts instead of 3
Improvements:
- Every enemy attack now warns you at least 0.35 seconds before it lands, boss bites and volleys included
- Redactors, Stampers and False Stampers near home bite on a slower beat and deal about half the damage per second, and Redactors near home go down in 4 punches instead of 6
- The first cave is much brighter: you can read the walls, the ore and the way through. Gold ore now shows as amber nuggets with a glint
- Glass Shades and their darts glow in the dark, so you can see them coming
- The Clerk's chamber is lit and the Clerk has a pale outline, so you can read the fight
- The East permit desk shows the price and asks you to press Use again before it takes your Stone and Wood
- Once you're past the opening, the objective card shows one next step at a time
- Weather, deliveries and mailbox notices now go to the small log in the top-left instead of a banner, and the same banner won't repeat within two minutes
- On a controller, dropping a stack and Store All / Take All now need a short hold, so a stray tap can't empty your hotbar into a chest
- Controller players start on the Consistent button layout, where the same button means the same thing on every screen. If your buttons feel different, Settings > Menu buttons switches back to Classic
Thanks for playing, and keep the feedback coming in the discussions!
