Announcement
Hello, this is LIFUEL.
We have quickly addressed several issues based on the large amount of feedback and testing from all of you. Some of the bugs were severe enough that we had no choice but to release the fixes before publishing this announcement.
Below is a combined summary of the changes included in versions 0.6.1–0.6.2.
Thank you to everyone who reported issues and shared feedback with us.
New
Added a new [Raid] illustration when entering a shop occupied by a Pursuit Golem, making it easier to understand what is happening.
Balance
Pursuit Golems and Elite Pursuers can now be affected by status effects such as Burn, Shock, Stun, and Vulnerable. (They cannot be affected while they are immune to damage, such as during their entrance or retreat animations.)
Omega Project Purple 5-Point [Emergency Injection] has been changed from instantly drinking a potion to drinking potions twice as fast. (This keeps the effect useful while reducing accidental activations.)
The maximum HP increase from Omega Project [Slot Overload] has been increased from +1 to +5 per empty Weapon Modification slot.
The maximum HP increase from Omega Project Yellow 10-Point [Tactical Reserve] has been reduced from +20 to +10.
Reduced hitstop and screen shake from both light and heavy hits.
Adjusted the Manium Crystal cost required to unlock Alpha Memories.
Changes
Module, Skill, and Booster cards obtained from events now remain on screen until the Confirm button is pressed. While a card is displayed, a confirmation prompt appears at the bottom of the screen, the dialogue behind it is darkened, and the conversation will not proceed to the next line.
Cards shown as reward previews in choices will still disappear automatically as before.
Special events such as Geo events will no longer appear in rooms containing a Pursuit Golem. The map description now explains why.
Added dedicated description text for rooms where a Pursuit Golem has devoured the supplies.
While viewing a Pursuit Golem on the map, the warning message now remains visible and gradually fades after moving the cursor away.
The Pursuit Golem description card on the map no longer disappears immediately from slight scrolling and instead fades based on distance.
Adjusted the Pursuit Golem description card and warning banner on the map so they no longer cover the left side of the screen, such as the inventory, or overlap with each other. Long translated text will also wrap correctly.
Boss icons on the map now use different artwork for each stage.
Improved the Pursuit Golem explosion effect.
Improved the translation of Noah's dialogue and standardized the terms used for "Base Camp" and "Corpse Hill."
The Elite Pursuer timer has been made smaller, and time reduced through attacks is now displayed to the right of the timer.
Timer reductions caused by attacks are now applied together once at least 0.1 seconds have accumulated.
Added a retreat sequence for Elite Pursuers. Before retreating, they perform a teleport preparation animation, move across the foreground of the screen, and unleash a sniper barrage. The HUD now gradually fades out during the retreat.
Elite Pursuer missile warning lines are now drawn over terrain, and the double attack has been strengthened.
Corrected the placement of 8 Omega Project nodes whose icons did not match their effects.
Added a shaking visual hint when stepping on the hidden gear in Corpse Hill.
Adjusted the drop position and icon of the Alpha Memory gear in Corpse Hill.
Changed the Skill Slot unlock notification shown after defeating Geo.
Improved translations throughout cutscene dialogue.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Manium, reward chests, and the exit portal would fail to appear in shops raided by a Pursuit Golem, preventing progression.
Fixed an issue where being downed while revival was still available would cancel the Pursuit Golem encounter, preventing the exit from opening in a raided shop.
Fixed an issue where Elite Pursuers could become stuck in midair after performing a slam attack near the edge of a one-way platform.
Fixed an issue where no choices appeared in the [Manium Storage] event after completing a run, preventing progression.
Fixed an issue where dialogue would stop progressing after repeatedly continuing treatment in the [Clinic] event.
Whether a Module can be selected in Corpse Hill is now determined by whether [Module Retention] (Omega Project Yellow 15-Point) was unlocked at the moment of death in the previous run. If it is unlocked after dying, the effect will apply starting from the next death.
Fixed an issue where purchases such as [Dismantle] in Alpha Memory would only take effect from the next run. They now take effect immediately in the run in which they are purchased.
Fixed an issue where [Unstable Center of Gravity] did not reduce the Basic Attack combo to only its final attack.
Fixed an issue where the displayed current damage of [High-Output Cannon] incorrectly included damage bonuses from other passive effects.
Fixed an issue where using [Massive Explosion] after [Flame Conductor] could cause a stage of [Massive Explosion] to be skipped.
Fixed an issue where the drones and attacks from the Combo Modules [Support P1], [Broken P2], and [Elastic P3] received Skill enhancement effects.
Fixed an issue where attacks from Modules and items could receive Skill enhancement effects or satisfy Skill-related conditions while using a Skill.
Fixed an issue where the displayed maximum HP increase from the Rest event option "Repair the Core" was higher than the actual value at high Alert Levels.
Fixed an issue where the Module Altar in shops was positioned too far to one side.
Fixed an issue where the Omega Point description tooltip in the inventory appeared much larger than the text itself.
Fixed an issue where Noah's position could become misaligned after traveling between Base Camp and Corpse Hill, causing the Alpha Memory repair animation to appear incorrectly.
Fixed an issue where some dialogue in the Base Camp cutscene was not displayed correctly.
Fixed an issue where pressing the Select key while reading the starting Module [Noah's Note] could cause the game to close. Missing note dialogue has also been restored and translated.
Fixed an issue where the game could close immediately after an Elite Pursuer appeared near an enhancement totem created by Doctor's Eye.
Fixed a rare issue where the game could close when performing a downward attack with the Alpha Memory [Height Strike] effect applied.
Fixed an issue where interacting with a Skill Altar after recycling or replacing a part could cause the game to close.
Fixed an issue where attacks left behind after a Skill or item disappeared could cause the game to close.
Fixed an issue where the exit portal would not open after obtaining the reward in one of Geo's combat events.
Fixed an issue where Geo could display swords from the wrong phase during hit, escape, and death animations.
Fixed an issue where Geo's battle music would fail to properly transition to other background music or stop playing.
Fixed an issue where the exit portal would not open in shops where a Pursuit Golem had devoured the supplies, preventing progression.
Fixed an issue where being hit by Doctor Wolf's grab attack could pull the player through a wall and prevent progression.
Fixed an issue where Doctor Wolf would stop moving after entering Phase 2.
Fixed an issue where combat could freeze if an attack hit an Elite Pursuer at the exact moment it retreated.
Fixed an issue where continuing from a save file with Alpha Memory [Height Strike] unlocked could cause the game to close.
Fixed an issue where, after changing weapons in the Armory, the downward attack granted by the Omega Point effect [Ground Breaker] was no longer recognized as a Skill.
