The Living Resort Update

Your resort is about to feel more alive than ever. This update brings two of the features you've asked for most: a brand-new ice skating area on the frozen lake and a resort photography business. On top of that, there's a new restaurant, a completely rebuilt interface, expanded controller support, and a long list of balance changes and fixes.

⛸️ Ice Skating Area (New)

One of the most requested features from our community. The frozen lake is now open for business.

• Run your own skating area, with its own skate rental cabin, fences and entrance.

• Skate rentals: guests ask for skates by color and size. Unlock new colors through upgrades and buy accessories to improve the area.

• Keep it clean: guests return dirty skates when they leave. Wash them at the new cleaning station.

• Mind the ice! Cracks and holes appear on the lake and need repairs, and guests may lose their balance and fall.

• Ice Skate Worker: hire staff to serve skaters, help fallen guests and fix holes in the ice.

• New skating animations, plus a dedicated HUD, order display and monitor.

• Ice skating quests, reviews, achievements and its own end-of-day summary.
  

📸 Resort Photography (New)

Another top community request. Grab the camera and turn your guests' best moments into profit.

• Pick up the Camera tool and look for guests with a camera icon above their heads around the resort. They're waiting for a photo.

• Sell your shots: every photo you take is displayed on the photo stand in the lobby. Guests buy them as they pass by and pay automatically, and you'll be notified when one sells.

• Decorate your resort: took a shot you love? Save it and use it to fill the painting frames on your walls.

• Photo effects and camera upgrades, each with hints to get you started.

🍽️ Food & Drinks

• New restaurant and food stands for the food court.

• Breakfast is now served at the restaurant instead of the hotel.

• Chef worker: your staff can now cook meals and prepare breakfast.

• Online orders reworked. Order displays have moved onto in-world monitors.

🏨 Hotel & Rooms

• Smarter housekeepers: besides cleaning dirty rooms, they now refill fireplaces that are running low, so you don't have to check every room yourself.

• Simpler room orders: buy the room order upgrade once and it applies to every room.
  

🗺️ A Bigger, Livelier World

• Reworked terrain with new pedestrian walkways and adjusted snow levels.

• New snowbike parking lot and an updated ticket booth area.

• More varied litter, snowy trash containers and refreshed tent textures.

• New sound effects throughout the resort.

🖥️ Complete UI Overhaul

Every menu, panel and HUD has been rebuilt from scratch with a brand-new visual theme.

• Redesigned tablet with a new minimap and map, plus a cleaner layout.

• Rebuilt main menu, settings, end-of-day, naming, room customization, photo, paint & sticker, vegetable and minigame panels.

• New notification system.

• New HUDs for the repair area, cocktails, food court, breakfast, vehicles, injured guests and wood.

• Improved unlock area cards and a new "Show Hints" button on upgrade cards.

🎮 Controller Improvements

• The main menu, tablet, radial menu and naming panels are now fully playable with a gamepad.

• Switch tablet tabs with L2 / R2.

• Controller button icons now appear wherever they're needed.

⚙️ Other

• Carry several snowballs at once and aim with a trajectory preview.

• Lots of new in-game hints.

• Localization updates and missing translations added in every supported language.

• Energy drinks moved to your toolbox the energy drink fridge has been removed, and energy drinks are now always in your toolbox. Drink one to enter Energy Drink Mode, now with its own HUD.

⚖️ Balance Changes

• The negative area bonus has been removed. Areas no longer lower your resort's overall score, so you can expand without being punished.

• New review system that rates your resort more fairly.

• Workers are faster at max level, and chefs are faster overall.

• Worker illness chances adjusted.

• Prices for scenes, guest houses and ice skating rebalanced.

• The Shovel upgrade and the Christmas upgrades have been removed from the store.
  

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Fixed online orders not working correctly.

• Fixed the cash register showing decimal values.

• Fixed several guest house issues.

• Fixed bugs when loading scenes and returning to the main menu.

• Fixed snowpile icons on the map.

• Fixed problems with the radial menu.

• General performance and stability improvements.
