Heya Engineers!
After all the work that went into the early access phase and the 1.0 launch of Unrailed 2, we've spend some time on vacation. But now we're back with a new engine, a new character, UI improvements and more!
Let's take a look:
New Engine: The Towcomotive
You may have noticed that there was still an empty space at the engine building in the menu. This place has now been filled with the Towcomotive!
All players are attached to it with a rope. This limits how far they can walk away from the engine, but allows them to slow it down if they all tug it backwards. Also, it supercharges all attached wagons!

Note: since the new engine is not yet on console: when you select the engine, cross-play will be disabled. If you want to play with your friends on console, choose another engine and make sure cross-play is enabled.
UI Improvements
We've implemented a bunch of UI improvements suggested by our community.
Most prominently, the handbook now shows the milk effect of milkable NPCs:
New Character: Bug
Whilst we try to remove as many bugs as we can, we've also added one with this release: Bug, the newest character to join Unrailed 2's roster!

1st Biome and 1st Round Highscores
Following community feedback there are now also high scores uploaded when you finish the first biome and the first round of biomes, i.e. just before you reach a biome the 2nd time.
Now Available: Cosmetic Item Packs
If you want even more than the 36 characters and 42 wearable items that are already in the game, you can support us with these two item packs that are now available.
These are just cosmetic though, no need to get them if you just want to play the game!
And that's all! As always, if you have any bug reports or feedback feel free to reach out to us here or on our Discord server.
