Added a new faction — the “Scavengers”. Intelligent mutated humans united by their own beliefs and customs. Their groups can now occasionally be encountered throughout the Wasteland.
Performed a major optimization pass on the global “Wasteland” level. On test PCs, performance improved by approximately 30–40%. In the most demanding areas, such as elevated locations overlooking large parts of the Wasteland, the performance gain was around 20–25%.
Added a new bird — the vulture. Vultures can now be encountered throughout the Wasteland.
Fixes and Improvements:

The price of the “Nuclear Battery” for “ATLAS” stations has been increased from 8,500 to 10,000 credits. Batteries can still be found for free in the “DARK SHELTER” once per day.
At players’ request, the shell holder on the Remington 870 has been moved from the right side to the left so that it no longer interferes with the wrist slot.
Added a new crashed airplane model to the global Wasteland map.
Added subtle spatial echo effects to soldiers’ dialogue and gunfire.
Increased the search area and search duration used by faction soldiers when looking for enemies.
Increased the distance from which faction soldiers can hear gunshots.
Increased the audible range of impact sounds when bullets hit different surfaces.
Made minor improvements to the “DARK SHELTER” level.
Increased the chance of finding additional “Nuclear Batteries” in the “DARK SHELTER” after completing the quest and during subsequent visits to the location.
Fixed an issue where the robot could repeatedly detect quest PDAs during search and reconnaissance after the player had already picked them up.
Fixed an issue with Operator quest PDAs where the pickup sound would not play when taking the PDA into your hand.
Changed the behavior of the “Protectors”. Previously, during attacks — including when attacking your robot — their tentacles would still reach toward the player. Their tentacles now target the enemy currently being attacked by the Protector.
Made minor visual improvements to the global “Wasteland” level.
HTC Vive:
Improved support for HTC Vive controllers. Previously, due to input limitations on these controllers, it was not possible to switch fire modes or view item descriptions. These actions should now be available using the Menu (≡) button.
