Hello!
I'm excited to finally release official VR support for There's Nothing Down There! VR was by far the MOST requested feature with people suggesting it even right after the game was announced and now it's here.
Though I've played some VR games before, I've never developed a game for VR before so this was quite the learning experience. I'm very happy with how it turned out and I hope the VR enthusiasts are too. Having played it extensively in VR now, I see why so many felt that VR was a natural fit for the game.
Important note: I was only able to test with the Oculus Rift S and Meta Quest 3S headsets as those are the only ones I have access to. I did add specific controller input support for HTC Vive and Valve Index headsets, but I cannot verify if they'll work as expected. If you run into problems with those headsets, please let me know and I'll try my best to address any problems.
There are also a couple other small updates that come with this. The notes are as follows:
Fixed a minor visual issue with one of the English subtitles
Add an option in the Graphics menu to toggle 'High Resolution Fog'. This will improve the fog quality and remove some noisy artifacts. It's most noticeable when playing in VR. Using it in VR though requires a powerful graphics card.
Remember that this is a seated VR experience. So take a seat, relax, and explore the depths. If you encounter any issues with the VR version, please post about them in the dedicated VR Support thread on the discussion board.
Now it's time for me to dive deeper into work on the sequel, which I've begun production on! Here are a few snippets of the prototype:

Thank you so much everyone for all the support and I hope you enjoy the update!
