Okay, maybe not the great white terror of the ocean, but freshwater predators are no less scary. Just in time for spooky season, Fish Game is updating our predator behaviors! Cichlids, piranhas, and menaces of all sizes will more accurately munch other fish, whether biting for biting’s sake or eating because they are just plain hungry.

As always, we want to protect players' fish friends, so we are introducing the Resurrection Bubble. The Resurrection Bubble can bring fish back from the dead. Players can choose to have all fish, only their favorite fish, or no fish float into a Resurrection Bubble upon death. All profiles will ask players their preference when their first fish dies, which can always be changed later in the settings.

This means everyone who owns the game will be getting a free new fish: Lobetoothed Piranha (in 2 colors!). This particular piranha will ambush anything its own size and smaller, so maybe not community tank material.
