Let’s first pull up the curtain and reveal…LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons!

That’s right, our next game is not a shooter but a dungeon crawling RPG! We know a genre shift might be a big thing to accept for fans of TurretGirls. However as big fans of RPGs and dungeon crawlers like Darkest Dungeon we are super excited to show you this new project!

Here are some of the core gameplay elements:

・Build and level a party of anime Girls inspired by Alice, Juliet, Dante, Raven, and other icons of classic literature.

・Explore dungeons based on iconic literary works packed with resources, traps, monsters, and challenging bosses.

・Master tactical, turn-based combat where battle formation, HP and Pathos matter.

・Harness the LOGOS word system for potentially life-saving buffs during battle.

・Develop your mysterious home base, the Astral Scriptorium, between expeditions.

Q1: Wait, is that Raven? Is this game connected to TurretGirls? 

A1: Both are contained in the “GirlsWorld!” Depending on the success of LitGIrls, we hope to be able to provide sequels and different titles in the GirlsWorld featuring some of your favorite girls!

Q2: Is there going to be censorship? 

A2: This time there will be a base version of the game sold on Steam with patches for 18+ content and an adult version available on select platforms. Check the official SNS channels for more information.

Update 4 Hits Hard! (But there will be bumps!)

Update 4 Trailer! 

Today we release our biggest update yet with a new character, new weapons, new generators and a brand new Multiplayer mode in alpha! As with anything online, there will be hiccups and bugs. Because we plan to update Multiplayer more with patches and extra content in Update 5 we are releasing it in “Alpha” for now. We understand listening to and responding to player feedback is key. So we plan to watch steam and discord carefully for your opinions and bug reports. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we craft this into a fantastic mode for everyone.  

Introducing Mami! 

Mami (Pronounced “Mommy”) is the newest and most voluptuous edition to the TurretGirls crew! She’s got her head in the clouds sometimes but comes “stacked” with some of the most powerful abilities in the game! 

Special Skill: Drone "B.O.I.N 55"

B.O.I.N 55 is Mami’s trusty custom made drone that is always by her side! Lovingly referred to as “B.O.I.N-kun” by Mami herself, she loves it like her own child! But what can it do? Let’s break it down. 

Attack and Upgrade Modes

• B.O.I.N 55 has two modes it can operate in one for offense and the other for upgrading generators! 

Attack Mode 

• This is B.O.I.N 55’s default mode where it will automatically attack groups of enemies with a powerful missile! 

• The reload is slow but the attacks are powerful! 

Upgrade Mode 

• Mami can also send B.O.I.N 55 to upgrade generators! 

• While its upgrading it cannot attack but upgraded generators gain more powerful stats for the entire run! 

Note: Mami is a master of technology, so although B.O.I.N 55 is loyal only to Mami, she can also equip up to 3 extra drones at the same time! 

Drones For Everyone!

- That's right, B.O.I.N 55 is not the only drone joining the fight! 

- We have implemented 3 brand new combat drones that can be equipped by any character in the game! 

Suppression Drone 

• Fires multiple lasers at backline enemies keeping them in check. 

Guard Drone 

• This drone stays by the users side and fires shotgun blasts at nearby enemies targeting the player

Stun Drone

• Fires large stun bombs into groups of enemies. They do not deal damage but stop enemies from moving or attacking for a short time. 

Note: Though any character can use drones Mami is the only character that can equip more than one. Girl and Raven have a limit of one drone each. 

New Generators! 

• We have added 3 new generators to this update to mix up the gameplay! 

Mortar 

• Fires powerful ground-to-ground missiles with massive range and AOE! 

Decoy Drone 

• Draws enemies in  with a hologram. On destruction it triggers a gravity well and large explosion!

Surge Tether 

• Buffs the attack power and reload speed of any nearby character. Can affect multiple characters and multiple surge tether effects can stack! 

Multiplayer goes live in Alpha on Steam!

• Finally we have our brand new multiplayer mode that we are excited to share with the world! 

• Here is a breakdown of some of the features.

Up to 3 player multiplayer 

• Multiplayer can be played with up to 3 players! 

• Invite your friends on steam or join private lobbies through room codes 

• No friends? Don't worry! You can also join any public lobby though the lobby search menu or set your lobby to public to have others players join. 

Bots

• If you don't have enough players or would like to try out the multiplayer stages alone bots are also available to help you out!

Stages

• As of update 4 you and your friends can enjoy playing all normal stages on Crisis levels 1 through 4 

• And the stages are big!  

Multiplayer Emotes!

• In addition to earning more resources as you clear levels for the first time you will also be awarded with Emotes that you can use during online play!

• Across all stages and crisis levels there is a total of 16 emotes to collect! Can you collect them all?
