🍋 LemonFC – Version 0.9.1.2

Another update for LemonFC is here!

This update brings numerous bug fixes, three new club facilities, improvements to the lineup system, and a number of smaller quality-of-life and balance changes.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

• Without a Club: After being sacked, the season now continues normally even if you don't accept a new offer. The winter break and cup competition no longer get stuck, preventing later crashes.

• License Revocation: Heavily indebted clubs can now lose their license even if their manager was sacked beforehand.

• Lineup: No more flickering when dragging player chips. When moving players, the chips now swap positions cleanly instead of overlapping.

• Substitutes' Bench: Automatic bench selection now covers every position and will never place two goalkeepers on the bench. This also applies to all AI-controlled clubs.

• Facility Focuses: You can once again select a focus for the Training Center, Youth Academy, and Medical Center when the respective facility itself has been upgraded to Level 2.

• Loading: After loading a save, the result of a later match is no longer displayed. The transfer sheet also opens directly to the latest issue.

• Live Ticker: Stoppage-time events now appear in the ticker before the half-time or full-time window opens.

• Name Editor: Selecting text no longer closes the editor. Empty or duplicate names are no longer allowed, and age and strength can now be entered directly. Name files containing duplicate club names are rejected during import.

• Club Colors: Manually renamed clubs now retain their club colors. This applies to newly started careers.

• Squad After Renaming: Renamed clubs now retain their predefined players, including any name corrections made in the editor. Previously, a renamed club could receive a completely random squad because the player data was still being searched under the old club name.

• Display: The selected player in the lineup is now easier to distinguish through a color change, and the XP explanation now clearly separates league and cup competitions.

✨ New Features

🏟️ Three New Club Facilities

• 🧠 Sports Psychology – Form slumps are less severe.

• 🤝 Member Services – Membership fees are now collected on every matchday.

• 🌱 Pitch Technology – The pitch recovers during winter and wears out more slowly overall.

🌱 The Pitch Is Alive!

The pitch now regenerates automatically from March to October.

During winter, regeneration is only possible with the new Pitch Technology facility.

The total pitch maintenance costs over a full season remain roughly the same as before.

⚽ Lineup

Players on the bench and in the stands can now also be substituted in simply by clicking them – in both directions.

👔 Board of Directors

“Disgrace” and “Upset Win” are now evaluated based on the club's strongest possible lineup.

Rotating your squad for a match will no longer automatically result in a penalty.

👶 Youth & Family

After a wish to have a child, the birth now takes place as a separate event around nine months later.

📋 Contracts & Loans

The remaining contract length is now displayed in all squad views and in the player profile.

For loaned players, the loan end date and parent club are also shown.

📊 Header

The header now displays the fitness and form of the starting eleven.

Stadium capacity is now shown only in the Stadium tab.

🖱️ Quality-of-Life Improvements

• The main button is now called “Follow Matchday” while the live ticker is running.

• The transfer sheet now lets you jump directly to the latest or oldest issue.

• The Team of the Week remains open when opening a player profile.

⚠️ Photosensitivity Notice

A photosensitivity notice is now displayed on the title screen.

⚖️ Balance

• Single/Divorced Bonus: The bonus is now a fixed +1 XP per match instead of ×1.5.

📝 Other

• 9 new surnames have been added to the name pool.

💾 Save Games

Save games from previous versions can still be loaded.

When loading an older save, the following adjustments are made automatically:

• Upgraded facilities are adjusted for the new facility focuses.

• The account balance and cup position of a former club are corrected after a manager dismissal.

• The three new facilities start at Level 0 in existing save games.
