Hello everyone! We’re excited to share Text Battle Royale’s first free update. Before we do that, we want to thank everyone who has played Text Battle Royale since its launch earlier this week. We appreciate everyone who has given it a go, joined us on Discord, given us valuable feedback, and reviewed the game. It really means a lot!
Now, let’s get to the good stuff! We’re happy to share that we have added a new feature that lets you add bots to your games. We’ve done a lot of playtesting and have implemented them to feel as though you’re playing against other human players. They might even throw out the occasional cheeky taunt to add salt to your wounds.
After the game’s release, this was the most requested feature, so we’re happy that we could make this a reality as soon as possible.
When you load the game up, you will now notice a “Play Vs. Bots” option; simply click this to host a game with some bots already added. If you are the host, you can manually add and remove bots using the F8 and F9 keys. You can also add them to games with your friends.
We’ve also fixed some existing bugs and updated other small parts of the game. Have a read of the Patch Notes below for the full list. Happy typing!
