Update notes via Steam Community

Vibralizer is live in Steam Early Access! A real-time music visualizer that reacts to anything that makes sound - Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Ableton, your mic, your cat at 2 AM. Today, you can grab it on Steam for Windows.

We're excited to celebrate this milestone today, but we have a lot more planned.

Nine Vibes, One Gallery

Corona, Discs, Fire, Galaxy, Kaleidoscope, Ring, Spectrogram, Stargate, and Static. Three are brand new for Early Access: Galaxy, Corona, and Static. The rest you might recognize from the demo, now sitting alongside their EA siblings in the Vibe gallery. Choose a Vibe or put Vibralizer on shuffle. Just add music!

What Early Access Means

The Vibe Gallery shows just 3 more empty spots, but we plan to add a lot more than that - it turns out, marbles can roll - stay tuned!

Throughout Early Access (and beyond) we'll keep adding new Vibes, new features, and bug fixes. We also plan to launch on additional platforms; macOS is coming very soon. The roadmap is shaped by what you tell us in the Steam Community, on Discord, and in your reviews, because our goal is to make a music visualizer that you truly love and want to keep using.

Intelligent, Not Artificial

We're a music-loving festival-going two-person team in Nashville. Kate has a PhD in (birdsong) audio analysis and is hard of hearing herself, so the goal of making music visible (for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and honestly for anyone) is personal. Nick has been shipping games and writing code for over 20 years. Vibralizer is what happens when those two things collide.

Before either of us met - long before the days of endless scrolling and AI slop - we would put on music and find ourselves mesmerized by the magic of a good music visualizer. Kate recalls Windows Media Player. Nick would use Winamp (it really whips the llama's ass). And when we did finally meet in 2022, we shared our Limewire stories and wondered if there were any fresh music visualizers on the scene, but were surprised by the lack of good options.

After a number of years, we finally decided to do something about it, but we wanted to do it right. Vibralizer does not use any AI imagery. Rather, art, sound, and math work together to let you see your music in real-time, the same way that your computer renders video games.

Whether you've been with us since the Demo or you're new to the Vibe tribe, we're glad you're here.

Sending you good Vibes,

- Kate & Nick <3
